We are high schoolers from California and competitive dancers. Throughout our dance experience, we've been lucky enough to never worry about having proper dance attire — and as we grew up, we realized what a privilege that truly is.

So many dancers are in a different position. We started asking: does it make sense to pay so much for a costume, wear it three or four times, and then have it thrown in the back of a closet? Dance costumes deserve a second life.

Through donations of costumes, we hope other dancers can experience the joys of dance — and that the entire dance community can be aware of the impact we have in making dance more sustainable.
